Kosovo Museum Brand Identity by Ilirian Sadiku

Kosovo Museum Brand Identity by Ilirian Sadiku

Kosovo Museum is the National Museum of Kosovo, located in the city of Pristina. It was founded in 1949 and is the largest museum in Kosovo. The archeology of this museum exhibits the details of the life of the Dardanian, Romanian, and Illyrian eras. In the center of the stage is located the Goddess on a throne (Hyjnesha ne Fron) statue which is 6000 years old and was found in 1956.

This project aims to raise people’s knowledge, and by that to increase their visits to museums. Further, it is meant to offer information, inspire attraction, and give a warmer welcoming atmosphere!

The idea was born by creating Virtual Museum so to offer students or o other visitors a way to view the artifacts through VR glasses, without having to be physically present at the museum.
The campaign “Shkova, pashë, mësova” was inspired by the phrase of Julius Caesar “veni, vidi, vici (“I came, I saw, I conquered”)” which in traslation from Albanian it literally means; “I went, I saw, I Learned”.

While creating the brand identity the main purpose was to build a virtual reality platform that is more accessible for people to see ancient objects and artifacts in a Virtual Reality.
