Juniperl the Non-Alcoholic Gin for Health-Conscious Millennials

Juniperl the Non-Alcoholic Gin for Health-Conscious Millennials

Juniperl founders Rebecca and Wes came to us with a mission to launch a sophisticated and affordable non-alcoholic alternative to gin. As active, health-conscious millennials themselves, they wanted to create something that fellow gin-lovers could enjoy on social occasions – without the hangover the next day.

To help them stand out in the fast-growing low and no ABV spirits category we focused on communicating a sense of joy and activity, with a contemporary, feel good brand identity that could be used across their packaging but also that would crucially stand out online and captivate their audience. We combined lighthearted messaging and a modern colour palette with playful collage elements that depict the alcohol-free gin’s flavour cues, and people outside enjoying themselves in nature. This allowed us to really give consumers a sense of what Juniperl was about, both via the flavour profile and their mission, via a cutting edge design. The label for the Juniperl brand is accentuated by tactile finishing. It elevates engagement and the premium feel but works with the design to keep the brand accessible. The result is a fresh look and feel that stands apart from the traditional low and no alcohol gins and thrives on the shelf and online, with eye-catching graphics and snappy brand messages such as ‘the alcohol-free G&T’ and ‘naturally booze-free’. Juniperl’s brand identity is one that is equally as at home on millennial drinkers’ Instagram feeds as it is on their shelves.

Despite launching in the Covid climate, Juniperl have already had some great success selling online – and lots of positive feedback on the branding. Watch this space for more results soon!

“The team at Kingdom & Sparrow completely got our brief and created the most amazing brand for us. Their ideas were so creative and different, and they’ve really made our brand stand out against others. We enjoyed the whole process and absolutely loved working with them!” – Rebecca, Founder & Director at Juniperl.
