JRDB – Interior Design Bureau Brand Identity

JRDB – Interior Design Bureau Brand Identity

The JRDB project was an opportunity to redefine a brand’s identity in order to enhance its market presence and connect more deeply with its target audience. JRDB – interior design bureau of bold and innovative solutions, sought a fresh, modern identity that would reflect their core values and vision for the future.

Our primary goal was to create a comprehensive brand identity that resonates with the target audience while staying true to the brand’s heritage and mission. This involved crafting a cohesive visual and verbal identity that would stand out in a competitive marketplace.

After conducting in-depth research on the client’s industry, competitors, and target audience, I held workshops and interviews with stakeholders to understand the brand’s values, mission, and vision.

Logo
I designed multiple logo concepts that explored different visual directions. Final logo is modern and sleek but at the same time playful and inviting. Unique shapes combined with distinctive typography with clever use of negative space create a memorable logo that helps in building brand recognition and loyalty. Logo shares the idea of the brand pattern system, it is versatile enough to work in various formats and applications. It looks good in color as well as black and white, and be scalable for different sizes, from business cards to billboards.

Color Palette
The main dusty blue color combined with three other bright colors reflects the bureau’s unique approach to interior design, which differs from the usual styles in the design industry.

Typography
As a main font we chose Helvetica Neue. It’s neutral stance means it doesn’t compete with the brand’s identity; instead, it enhances the message and supports the overall visual harmony and conveys professionalism and simplicity. When discussing the Publico Headline (Commerical Type) as a secondary font, it’s important to highlight its unique attributes and how it integrates with the primary font.

Visual Elements
As the main visual direction, we chose the concept of divisions on a ruler, which every designer uses to measure a room or a product. Thus the brand pattern system emerged, it dynamically depicts different attributes of interior design in a very interesting and unique way.

Design Execution
Finalized the logo design and created a comprehensive brand style guide.
Developed brand collateral, including business cards, letterheads, and digital assets.

Implementation & Feedback
Launched the new brand identity across various platforms, including online and print.
Gathered feedback from stakeholders and made refinements as needed to ensure the brand identity achieved its intended impact.

The new brand identity for JRDB successfully captured the essence of the brand while making it more relevant and appealing to the target audience. Key achievements include: a modern, versatile logo that stands out across different media, a cohesive color palette and typography that enhance brand recognition, enhanced brand materials that improve professional presence and engagement.

The revamped identity has been well-received, with positive feedback from both the client and their audience. It has led to increased brand visibility and a stronger emotional connection with customers.

This project was a significant learning experience in balancing client expectations with creative innovation. It reinforced the importance of a thorough research phase and the value of iterative design processes in creating a successful brand identity.
