Calma Chicha Skateboarders Collective is a small brand dedicated to skateboard products and clothing that want to make very creative designs on the boards and on the clothes and their packaging.

The target audience is not only skaters, young people who dress in a more casual way, it is street clothing with a very strong design component.
The main handicap that we found was the price of the packaging, since we hardly had a budget and we had to differentiate 2 models and 4 different colors. We wanted the packaging to have the possibility of distinguishing between these models with a simple mark on the packaging.
Another thing that we gave great importance to was that the packaging was as sustainable as possible, since being a young and modern brand, it has very high sustainability values ​​and we were asked that it should have the least possible carbon footprint. Thus, together with the digital printing company that printed the packaging, we looked for the formula of being able to make a packaging in a single piece and printed only in one ink on a printing machine that works with electricity.

We created a box with a line graph in which you can see the front of a skate, the wheel is die-cut so that you can see the color of the underpants and thus make only one model for the 4 colors. On the back there are some illustrations that serve as a marker for each size and model, finally on one side the illustration of the skate follows so if you put together a front part, several sides and a back part you can create the figure of a complete skate, making a very original effect. The box is printed on FSC certified paper and is made in a single piece, added to the fact that only one color and one model are used for all references, we manage to reduce the carbon footprint as much as possible and thus make a sustainable packaging since it is fully recyclable.

The result is a very original packaging that attracts attention in all skateboard shops since the effect when several packagings are together is spectacular.
