Iskelet Design’s Branding and Packaging for Spoils of War Jewellery

Iskelet Design’s Branding and Packaging for Spoils of War Jewellery

You place the ring on your finger, as the red gem shines to your eyes so brightly with the power you now hold, the battles you’ve won has rewarded you with the SPOILS of WAR, loots from distant shores.

You gaze at the most powerful woman on earth and her newest triumph shining on her ring finger in the mirror.

Spoils of War is all about the mysterious loots found on faraway lands, the priceless gems and jewellery is now yours to spoils yourself! As Iskelet Design, we had a lovely time designing for a jewellery brand that wanted a mysterious feeling. Brands tone of voice worked in harmony with our art logo style, and a simple yet strong packaging.

We have also worked on the brand name and tone of voice with the client. The initial design is the terracota & white box packaging. The concept is submitted but not yet accepted by client to produce.

The imagery of a woman holding on to the newly looted goods are illustrated with catch-phrases to support them such as ‘loots from distant shores’.

The company wanted an extra value to be presented to their clients, a story of a woman, maybe a warrior, maybe a queen, someone who now holds a wealth and priceless gems, all after the battles she has won and the miles she has traveled, far from her home and her comfort zone. Therefore the client would get the feeling of success by purchasing a jewelry and carry it with pride. The story altough dark, brutal and vicious, has to also look glamorous, elegant and luxury. The idea of ‘spoils of war’ theme is found while watching a lot of Norse shows and female warriors.

We plan on telling the story through packaging, supporting elements such as cards and small gifts like pins and embroidery and social media.

Gold foil is commonly used on the packaging items on illustrations and on the monogram prints. We believe it resembles the gold in the jewelry and emphasizes the premium quality of the brand.

Hold on to your most precious gem, and spoil yourself with the loots from distant shores, keep the story and believe in yourself!
