It’s the number 1 brand in sales and the most innovative within the Cerealis company, always relying on products with added value for the consumer. They have entrusted Little Buddha the launch of the new range Granola.
In its constant intention to innovate in mass consumption products in Portugal, Nacional is launching Granola, in two varieties, Cocoa and Honey.
The challenge was to create packaging design proposals in a predetermined format which communicate innovation from a natural perspective and from the flavour. To effectively and intelligently include in the design the National brand and the naming of the product: Granola, without them competing with each other, but rather complementing each other. On the one hand, a look and materials, such as Kraft, with a special texture and a variety of colours with codes that convey quality and healthiness. A design that reinforces the naturalness conveyed by Nacional brand products. On the other hand, product images and ingredients that maximise deliciousness are used. A powerful and informative packaging design which allows to explain this proposition of a differential value, knowing that there is no media investment planned for the launch: Packaging as a “superhero” on the supermarket shelf.
About colours, we use of a white coloured background for the design which helps to frame the proposed graphic, conveying purity, and a clean and subtle product. Finally, from Little Buddha, we have proposed a packaging design that supports the naturalness of the product and which stands out on the shelf.
