Identity of the Medical Mobile Game OdySight Created In-House

OdySight® is a mobile game with medical modules and used to remotely monitor vision parameters of patients suffering from chronic maculopathies. The app is adapted to the patient’s needs and serves as an important link in building the patient-physician relationship. Fun and easy to use, OdySight® connects patients and clinicians in a convenient new way.

OdySight is a available on recommendation of physicians and designed to be used regularly between consultations. The app includes an array of vision tests, comparable to those which are found in the eyecare clinic and centers, that allow you to monitor the vision and detect potential changes in visual acuity. Accompanying these tests are a series of engaging puzzles, which stimulate the visual and cognitive functions. OdySight is particularly well suited to the monitoring of chronic diseases of the retina, which affect the central vision and the ability to see directly ahead.

Regular testing with OdySight’s medical modules helps mitigate the risks of deterioration caused by the progression of retinal diseases. Patients who use OdySight® receive energy points by taking vision tests, which they can then use to play a puzzle. Travelling through the various worlds and solving the puzzles quickly gets patients hooked, ensuring that they come back again and again, which in turn ensures a steady supply of data points for their doctors for optimal monitoring.

OdySight® was created by ophthalmologists and developers with the goal of giving patients a way to do vision tests from home on their smartphone or tablet, while their physician tracks results and any changes remotely.

OdySight® is the first medical app developed by the Tilak Healthcare studio. Tilak Healthcare is a pioneer start-up from France in the field of medical videogames. They create games that are both fun and medically relevant, designed for patients suffering from chronic disease.

The OdySight identity is aimed to support the app promotion. Its communications are clear and sincere, but at the same time fun and playful.
