Identity for Premium Fashion Brand Lanme de Maison

Creation of a new brand for an online premium clothing store for women.

The main assortment is dresses for evening events. To create the collection, the founder of the brand was inspired by the forms of futurism, which was also reflected in the visualization of the brand.

The basis of the target audience is women of high income, we conducted a study and found out that they like to spend time studying art. They need to look luxurious. Lanme de Maison is a brand for women who want not only to dress beautifully and functionally, but also to express themselves, this is a real gallery for revealing your creative potential through clothing.

We decided to look for a solution in the field of museum aesthetics, formulating for ourselves that “a woman’s dress is a real piece of art.”

In the museum, each painting has a signature in the form of a small footnote near the frame, which lists the most necessary information about the author and the work itself. From here comes the main graphic technique: technical media typography combined with sophisticated aesthetic photographic images. The main font “Сanela” by Type today is a refined and majestic serif, symbolizes an object of art, attracts attention. Paired with it, the block typesetting “Sofo Robert” by Сontrast Foundry creates the feeling of typed text. The combination of this pair symbolizes the very relationship between a luxurious picture and an explanatory caption, revealing to the viewer the most important details hidden from the eyes. The typography works unobtrusively on the media, playing the role of adding micro details so as not to pull the eye away from the main character, but also hinting at its presence.
