Cf napa continues the hundred knot story…

After engaging cf napa brand design to develop the name, logo, and packaging design for their new wine brand – hundred knot – rd winery tasked cf napa brand design with creating the brand’s higher tier – the khoai wines. The name hundred knot drew inspiration from the owner’s heritage and was based on a vietnamese parable that teaches the importance of hard work and perseverance.

These new tasting room exclusive wines needed to continue to tell this legendary tale while taking on a more luxurious feel to reflect the pedigree of the iconic vineyards.

A hand-painted brush stroke created an abstract illustration of a bamboo stalk to form the main graphic of the label. The brush stroke was embossed, and the red winery icon was debossed, providing the final textural touches to the exceptional wine. A timeless design for a brand inspired by a tale that has stood the test of time.
