House of Beauty Grand Siècle Paris: Tania Markina’s Elegant Rebrand of a Royal Legacy

In 2015, Serge Henry Nora, tracing his lineage back to Louis de Marck, the inaugural French court cosmetologist, and an ardent connoisseur of feminine allure, stumbled upon a precious beauty secret within his family’s archives: a time-honored cream recipe enriched with donkey milk. This formula, cherished by the captivating favourites of the French monarchy, had been meticulously passed down through generations.

Motivated by a deep reverence for his family’s heritage, Mr. Nora embarked on a mission to resurrect this illustrious tradition and reinstate its esteemed position. Thus, he envisioned the revival of the Grand Century’s beauty rituals for contemporary women, culminating in the establishment of the House of Beauty Grand Siècle Paris.

The historical narrative traces its origins to 1665, when Louis de Marck, pioneering as the royal court’s first cosmetologist, devoted over two years to perfecting various cream concoctions. Through his extensive experimentation, he concluded that skincare formulations featuring donkey milk, steeped in centuries-old practices, yielded unparalleled efficacy and potency.

Over generations, the treasured recipe remained safeguarded within the opulent confines of Versailles, amidst its regal chambers, resplendent costumes, and grandiose royal gatherings that defined French aristocracy.

The cosmetics curated by the House of Beauty Grand Siècle Paris encapsulate the essence of seduction, meticulously crafted in accordance with the timeless standards of the French royal court. Each product symbolises a harmonious blend of historical prestige and contemporary luxury, offering modern women a glimpse into the refined beauty regimens of centuries past.
