It’s December and cuddle season is upon us! Sly Fox Brewing Co just dropped the perfect winter variety pack to keep you cozy through this winter season. They bundled 4 beers that pair perfectly with a snowy walk, a fireside cuddle or a holiday party. Meet Bundled Up, your next 12 pack of 12 oz cans you have to try!

For the packaging design we wanted the branding to tell a story. The cozy cabin invites you in as you feel the warmth of the fire. The art direction allowed for a winter snow scene illustrated with various textured brushes in Procreate. Packaging work includes illustration, typography, layout & graphic design as well as branding design and prepress.

The lettering Bundled Up by Jeremy Friend adds an additional playful vibe as you stay comfy in your winter jacket. Thank you Sly Fox Brewing Co for this fun creative opportunity to design the packaging and a few labels inside!

Cryo Fix IPA – 6.5%
A bulked-up fix of pungent hop flavor and aroma is crammed into this hazy, orange-hued, “cryo-hopped” IPA. Derived from the Greek kryos, meaning “frost”, cryo-hops are created using cryogenic technology to deliver a concentrated blast of aromatic hop bliss.

White Horse Witte – 5.3%
An elegant, unfiltered Belgian-style White Ale brewed with unmalted winter wheat. Soft and light in body, and delicately spiced with curacao orange peel and coriander.

Softly Falling Darkness – 5.9%
Days grow short, nights grow long, and the beer in our glass grows dark. As winter settles in around the brewery, hearty caramel and chocolate malts come out to play. Softly Falling Darkness is a deep, rich stout softened by heaps of flaked and malted oats. Velvet notes of dark chocolate dance across the palate.

Helles Golden Lager- 4.9%
A German-style golden lager brewed with high-quality pils malt and Saaz and Hallertau hops. This light-bodied beer offers a gentle, dry finish. A perennial favorite in the Sly Fox pubs and our brewer’s go-to session beer.

I’m a firm believer in creativity starting from within. Whether it’s a logo design, print advertising or a craft beer label – the vision starts with an idea. A creative thought that is put on paper first. The computer is merely a tool to polish and finesse the concept. Good design isn’t a one-click process.
