Focused on nature and how it’s changing seasons feed the land, Hibiscus is a restaurant that goes beyond what we eat. Their philosophy embraces the importance of our planet and how we must work in harmony to produce a sustainable foundation that allows us to consume the best it has to give. Our aim was to champion the sea, the soil and the sky.
We wanted to connect the consumer with the brands philosophy so we concentrated on typography, colour and photography to deliver an identity that reflected the brands approach to dining. Story–telling was a vital form of communication so bespoke forms of marketing the businesses ethos were created including a hierarchy of products for loyal, regular and business clients.
Studio Native founder, Chris Sanders said: “We work alongside some of the world’s most respected hospitality brands including Hilton, Hyatt, Courtyard and Ramada. We are continually researching market trends and the habits of people that use their services. When the team at Hibiscus reached out we instantly knew that their ethos to dining was the difference between them and those we have previously worked with.”
Chris added: “Current conversations centered around our planet and how we must change our attitudes to food production made this project very relevant. We wanted to remove anything that detracted from the restaurants philosophy. It was essential for the consumer to connect with not only the experience of eating at Hibiscus but to also understand the issues they were addressing.”
