We conceived Plácido as more than a product; it is a structured graphic system where every decision responds to a clear and intentional visual logic. The brand is constructed through composition, allowing scent to become the primary driver of both aesthetic direction and identity, shaping how each element is perceived and experienced.
Each edition operates as a controlled variation within this system. Elements such as color, fragrance, and packaging are carefully adjusted rather than randomly chosen, yet they remain anchored to the same underlying graphic framework. This approach ensures coherence across all editions while still allowing space for diversity, evolution, and creative exploration without losing the essence of the brand.
Plácido presents itself as a conceptual perfume project rooted in contrast. It combines unexpected scent pairings such as mango with cactus, coconut with wet earth, and toasted corn with vanilla, creating sensory experiences that challenge familiarity and expectation. These combinations, though unusual, are designed to achieve a subtle and deliberate balance that feels both surprising and harmonious.
The bottle originates from a classic, clean, and restrained form that serves as a neutral foundation. This is intentionally contrasted by a cap with a more industrial and tactile presence, introducing a sense of material tension.
This interplay between refinement and rawness reinforces the central idea behind Plácido, the fusion of contrasting concepts that, when combined, create something new, cohesive, and distinctive.
