Giardino Elettronico 2019 Visual Identity Project

Giardino Elettronico is an electronic music event of Genova’s city that take place annually: its particularity is location choice and refined artistic selection. For july 2019 edition, carried out in a historic residence, Villa Bombrini, together with Carola Magnasco we’ve designed visual identity of event: goal is to give a feeling of freedom, movement and freshness without falling out to the classic canons of communication for electronic music events. We thought that the best solution was to create a non-invasive graphic structure to let the event “speak” itself: we wanted to accompany and enhance, not to overcome. We have created a circular shape that becomes dynamic and illusory based on the distance from which you look at it, a magnet. We have given great importance to texts and color in the hierarchy of the various layouts. The color, a fresh and “summer” gradient, moves, changes direction, is free from limits.
