Our Identity, unpacked
Our core wordmark is minimal by design – reflecting our shared focus on clean, effective, and impactful design solutions. The use of a bold, sans-serif font ensures clarity and legibility, whilst the ‘North Star’ serves as a focal point for all logo applications. Positioned between ‘Geist’ and ‘Studio,’ this device also functions as a bridge, linking the two elements of our wordmark and emphasising the collaborative spirit of the studio.

The Geist*Studio ‘Maker’s Mark’ offers a unique opportunity to infuse our brand identity with a sense of artisanal craftsmanship and heritage. This framed letter device, adorned with core visual elements such as our ‘North Star’ and framing text, serves as a symbolic representation of our brand’s position within the creative industries. By incorporating this distinctive makers mark, we not only elevate the visual appeal of our condensed logo but also establish it true a sense of pride and authenticity.

At the heart of our brand identity lies the ‘North Star.’ This simple symbol embodies the essence of our brand – representing the guiding force of our studio’s B-Corp Values. When applied in its dynamic 3D form, we’re able to explore a diverse range of material renderings. Each material render allows us to convey a distinct personality and contextual awareness, enriching our brand’s visual language and narrative. Whether rendered in the rugged texture of stone, the sleek transparency of glass, or the industrial tones of metal, the ‘North Star’ serves as a versatile visual anchor that not only adds depth and dimension to our written content but also infuses it with character and relevance.
