Margarida Brêtas Mercio, affectionately called Gaïda. A strong and determined woman but at the same time very affable with her family, sociable and extremely elegant. In the 1920s, she was the first woman to live at Estância Paraizo, south of Brazil, and as a personality ahead of her time, she breathed what was most new and modern. She used to live between the Americas and Europe, so her style was very global and trendy.
Gaïda sparkling wine is the expression of her life, specially the famous parties in her palace in the city of Bagé, where she lived always inspired by the codes of elegance of the Art Déco and Art Nouveau movements that illuminated the 20s and 30s.
In this refreshed label project, the aim was to portray the happy and cheerful side of her personality as a celebration sparkling wine illustrating a party as french caricatures from the 30’s. At the same time, Gaïda, the woman who inspires the project’s name, is located in the upper center of the label, in a special badge evidencing its value and presence by foil and embossed finishings.
The label is also decorated with flowers and natural elements that dressed her palace and personality in her time. The rosé sparkling wine continues a series of varieties that the brand will launch in the future, so the project can always be adapted to new colors full of visual expressions, textures and fancy typography giving rise to a unique culture gracefully represented on this label. A true cut from a distant era full of nostalgia and luxury.
