Assignment: create branding and packaging for a hypothetical momo/dumpling brand that does birthday gift boxes.
Brand: Fomomo, an FMCG brand making ready to eat momos along with tea and sauces. They make customized goodie/gift boxes to allow customers to enjoy a wholesome momo experience from the comfort of their homes. These boxes can be customized with their assorted momo and sauce flavours along with a choice of their specially blended teas to match the taste of even the pickiest eaters.
Not only is it a great way to elevate the traditional Tibetan delicacy but also pair it with locally grown, specially blended teas from the hills of Darjeeling. It’s also an eco-friendly alternative as it’s plastic-free, and with the aesthetic packaging, it can be used for gifting purposes later.
Components-
Ready-to-cook momo pack of 8 (either be steamed or fried)
Tea Tin. Customers can choose up to 4 different blends from Jasmine, Green, Darjeeling and Chamomile
Sauce Pouch with their 6 signature sauce sachets.
Box Material- Corrugated Mailer Box. Kraft paper outside liner and test paper for the inside liner.
Visual identity- Traditional Tibetan designs inspired by their monasteries, patterns and art represented with a quirky and fun touch. I have also used bright popping colours to create a warm, inviting and friendly vibe. Inspired by their patterns I created some motifs which could work as a recurring element across all my branding and packaging.
Tone of Voice- Positive, welcoming and quirky just as comforting sharing a plate of morish momos with friends.
