Floutd: Where Donuts & Coffee Rise Together

Floutd is a donut and coffee shop located in Riyadh, designed to capture the lightness and quality of its signature donuts. Inspired by the way donuts gently float in oil while cooking—an element that reflects their fluffy texture and premium quality—the brand identity of Floutd needed to embody this sense of craft and care. This project aimed to develop a visual identity that feels warm, inviting, and reflective of the dedication put into every donut and coffee served.

The Floutd logo was crafted to be both simple and bold, striking a balance that ensures versatility across various applications and materials. This adaptability means the logo can be displayed seamlessly on everything from storefronts and menus to coffee cups and packaging, without losing its unique character. We selected a color palette that aligns with the cozy ambiance of the shop itself: Brunswick Green serves as a grounding, primary color, complemented by the soft neutral tone of Ash Gray, the brightness of School Bus Yellow, and the clean warmth of White Smoke. These colors, combined, create an inviting and comfortable environment for customers.

To further enhance the brand’s personality, illustrations were added to the packaging, giving each product a playful touch. The chocolate drizzle, used as a recurring visual element, not only represents the sweet and delicious nature of Floutd’s offerings but also serves as a dynamic design feature. Its geometric form is easy to apply across various sizes and spaces, enhancing visual consistency while maintaining an elegant appeal.

With these elements, Floutd’s brand identity comes to life as a reflection of its dedication to quality and craftsmanship. Every piece, from the logo to the packaging, is a testament to Floutd’s commitment to providing a delightful experience—where each donut and cup of coffee rises to meet the high standards of both taste and design.
