Ferm Living has become internationally acclaimed thanks to its Scandinavian aesthetics. Since 2006, Ferm Living has enriched rooms with its furniture, accessories and lighting. Today, the Danish brand has an international presence in 85 countries, creating spaces to feel comfortable you.
As the company evolves, Ferm Living has introduced a refined visual identity. It marks the natural progression of the company and its engagement in timeless design and craft. Founder of Ferm Living, Trine Andersen, has designed the new logo in collaboration with Danish design agency e-Types. Signifly, a Danish digital agency, helped develop and implement the new visual identity across multiple touchpoints, from packaging to webshop.
A natural progression
Ferm Living, e-Types and Signifly have worked on the new brand design for the last year. The redesigned logo is the centre of it all as it reinterprets Ferm Living’s previous logo, the iconic bird motif, which has then been translated and implemented across touchpoints.
“Ferm Living helps create spaces to feel comfortable you. The new brand design express a unique type of comfort and accessible luxury that invites you in rather than only looking pretty in a interior magazine or on Instagram.”

A new colour palette and revised typography strengthen Ferm Living’s identity. The soft curves and sharp edges of the typography balance warmth and modernity. Four core colours ensure a basic and recognisable expression across all communication, complemented by dynamic seasonal colours.
Ferm Living and Signifly worked closely together to roll out the entire visual identity across touchpoints. An extensive task, as the identity had to work across the product range and online universe.
“Together we reviewed all media and defined brand guidelines. This creates recognisability, consistency and efficiency across products and touchpoints.”

From small idea to global brand
Trine Andersen took the steps for what would ultimately become Ferm Living back in 2006. Back then, she couldn’t find the right wallpaper for her home. So she made her own. Little by little, the collection evolved and she and the growing company began selling to more and more markets.
Today, Ferm Living products are sold in over 85 countries through retailers, e-tailers and its own webshop. Ferm Living also sells to offices, hotels and the like. The updated brand design brings new life to this story of Scandinavian design and entrepreneurship.
The new identity coincides with Ferm Living launching its Spring Summer 2025 collection.
