We had the privilege of partnering with Abysalto, a new forward-thinking IT company focused on solving complex technological challenges. Our branding work for Abysalto encompassed a new brand strategy, name and visual identity, employer branding, and communication strategy, aligning their core values with their visual and communicative expressions. We created a comprehensive brand identity that reflects their innovative spirit, deep thinking, and bold ambitions. Here’s a closer look at how we crafted their branding.

Abysalto is a company that thrives on solving complex problems through innovative technological solutions. Their innovative tech solutions create meaningful impact for their customers, as well as on lives of millions of people – from improving traffic flows in urban areas, supporting payments in agriculture, cutting energy costs or safely crossing state borders. Their digital solutions are invisible yet omnipresent, designed to improve people’s everyday life – from buying tickets for the daily commute, enrolling kids in kindergarten or paying energy bills.

They are on a mission to simplify challenges, impact businesses with meaningful solutions, and push boundaries in the tech space. Their internal values — expertise (dive deeper), determination (aim higher), and courage (do a somersault) — are qualities that drive their passion to transform industries through creativity and forward-thinking ideas.

The name Abysalto is derived from a combination of Latin words: abyssus (the deepest depths), altus (height), and saltus (leap, shift). The meaning behind the name reflects the company’s commitment to deep thinking and reaching new heights, aligning with the slogan “Dive deeper. Aim higher.”, which encapsulates their philosophy of pushing beyond the ordinary to deliver impactful results. Abysalto is about making a leap in business and achieving the highest goals, challenging conventional approaches and crafting transformative solutions.

At the heart of Abysalto’s identity lies their commitment to innovation and pushing boundaries. Their employer branding revolves around the idea of attracting and retaining individuals who share their passion for deep thinking, creativity, and boldness. The company seeks people who are ready to tackle complex challenges, dive into new depths, and aim for heights others deem unattainable.

Employer Branding Messages are “The deeper you dive, the higher you aim, the more frontiers you push.”, “The more boundaries you push, the more projects you can accomplish.”, “Pushing frontiers creates meaningful work.”, “On the front of pushing frontiers.”, “Obstacles exist only in your mind.”, “Obstacles are nothing, your mind is everything.”, “Pushing frontiers every year.” and “We open up new opportunities.”

For the visual identity of Abysalto, we proposed a modern typographic solution that emphasizes the core concepts of the brand. The logo features an inventive intervention in the letter “A,” giving it a unique and striking character. The inverted “A” suggests deep thinking (dive deeper), while the upright “A” communicates the company’s high-reaching goals (aim higher). The flipped letter also symbolizes Abysalto’s commitment to providing unconventional, transformative solutions for their clients.

We selected Degular typography for its balance of modern and traditional styles, with unconventional details to match Abysalto’s innovative nature. The color palette uses gradients that suggest depth (dark blues) and the pursuit of heights (light blues, white, and yellow). These elements come together to create a visual identity that reflects Abysalto’s bold and transformative approach to technology and business solutions.
