Extinto Café is more than just coffee; it’s a call to awaken the human spirit. Our goal was to create packaging that embodies Extinto’s ethos—encouraging people to look deeper into their choices and stay connected to the world around them. With vibrant orange tones, bold visuals, and a raw, industrial design language, the packaging serves as an invitation for people to rise with purpose and savor the craftsmanship in each sip.
Rooted in Extinto’s mission to ‘awaken humanity,’ the design balances rugged aesthetics with a sense of intimacy, creating a look that’s both powerful and approachable. Each element—color, typography, and illustration—was crafted to feel personal and impactful. The signature bright orange symbolizes both energy and urgency, acting as a visual wake-up call that aligns with the brand’s message to stay aware and engaged.
To tell the story of each small-batch roast, we used diverse illustration styles and techniques, highlighting the unique origin and production process of each batch. This approach reinforces the brand’s small-batch authenticity, making each product feel like a distinct experience that connects consumers to the source.
What makes Extinto’s packaging truly unique is its duality: industrial yet intimate, bold yet inviting. Each package becomes a piece of art, connecting consumers to the spirit of Colombian coffee from Aratoca, Santander. The result is a brand experience that feels authentic, compelling, and memorable—a reminder to stay present, engaged, and appreciative of every single cup.
