EUknow.it represents the evolution of “Guida all’Europrogettazione”, an Italian editorial project designed to make European funds and programs more accessible to citizens, students, and organizations. The initiative promotes a culture of shared knowledge and responsible design, empowering people to understand, navigate, and benefit from the opportunities offered by the European Union.
The new name conceived by Cappelli Identity Design — EUknow.it — merges two essential concepts: ”EU”, representing Europe, and “know”, symbolizing knowledge and competence. This synthesis expresses the project’s ultimate purpose: to know in order to design. It transforms the complexity of European funding into a space for learning and collaboration, where awareness becomes participation.
At the heart of the project lies the Cappelli Identity Design’s Dynamic brand, a methodology that translates complexity into a living, generative, and inclusive visual language. The logotype unfolds across three levels — EU, know, .it — placing knowledge at the center of the visual structure. Fluid, ever-changing forms are generated through a dedicated algorithm, reflecting the continuous evolution of knowledge, while a stable circle on the left symbolizes the solid foundations on which collective progress is built.
The visual identity is designed to be adaptive and systemic, capable of evolving alongside the project’s growth. Its chromatic structure defines the three main areas of the platform — Manual, Programs, and Insights — guiding the user through a clear and intuitive navigational experience. Each color is not just a tone, but a function: it helps the user recognize, orient, and connect.
Geometric overlays and vibrant contrasts create a visual rhythm that carries through all digital and physical touchpoints. The identity lives across a multilingual web platform, newsletter design, social media storytelling, and communication campaigns, building coherence through motion, typography, and interactive design. The interface design combines clarity and openness, ensuring accessibility for diverse audiences — from public institutions to private organizations, from students to experts in European project management.
EUknow.it is more than a platform; it is an ecosystem of collaboration and learning, promoting a vision of Europe that is closer, clearer, and more inclusive. The project is the result of a broad institutional partnership, promoted by Fondazione CRT, together with ACRI (the Association of Foundations and Savings Banks), ASVAPP (the Association for the Development of Evaluation and Analysis of Public Policies), and Filiera Futura, involving nine Italian banking foundations: Fondazione Cariplo, Fondazione Caritro – Cassa di Risparmio di Trento e Rovereto, Fondazione Cariverona, Fondazione CRC – Cassa di Risparmio di Cuneo, Fondazione CR Firenze, Fondazione CRT, Fondazione di Sardegna and Sparkasse Foundation.
By integrating identity, accessibility, and digital storytelling, EUknow.it translates the values of participation and transparency into design. Every element — from motion to color, from form to interaction — becomes part of a coherent narrative where information becomes culture, and culture becomes action.
Knowing Europe.
Design Its Future.
