We often find ourselves immersed in the tech startup world, designing brands that highlight innovation and cutting-edge solutions. In this whirlwind, it’s easy to forget the enduring beauty of rural enterprises, the foundations that provide the food gracing our tables. That’s why we were thrilled to partner with Colhida, a young, dynamic company with a passion for gastronomic agriculture and a commitment to producing high-quality, gourmet products.
For Colhida, the branding challenge was clear: to reflect their ethos of sustainability and excellence while remaining rooted in the elegance of natural simplicity. The brand identity we crafted draws from a warm, earthy color palette, inspired by the rural origins of the enterprise. These tones evoke the rich soil, golden fields, and natural elements at the heart of Colhida’s philosophy.
One of the most distinctive features of the branding is the playful logo, where the letter “H” is cleverly duplicated to resemble a farm fence. This design choice gives the logo a sense of movement and versatility, as the “fence” motif expands and contracts across various applications of the identity, creating a dynamic visual experience that adapts effortlessly to different formats.
To reinforce the handcrafted nature of Colhida’s production, we incorporated pen-and-ink style illustrations, evoking a sense of artisanal care and manual craftsmanship. These fine-line drawings emphasize the human touch behind each product and complement the brand’s overall aesthetic, blending the rustic with the refined.
