For the highly anticipated global collaboration between HBO and Fabergé, London based creative agency DD London were entrusted by long time client Fabergé to create a film, a password-protected website and a commemorative book to showcase this extraordinary piece. The book cover is debossed with the texture inspired by Daenerys’ dragon eggs from the stunning Game of Thrones x Fabergé Egg.
Taking inspiration from the spectacular egg throughout, the keepsake Game of Thrones x Fabergé book was designed to be gifted alongside this one-of-a-kind work of art. Filled with behind the scenes imagery of the detailed design and bespoke craftsmanship that went into creating this incredible piece, the book brings the story of the Game of Thrones Egg to life, from concept sketches to finishing touches.
DD London created a bespoke password protected website to showcase content to a select specialist audience, revealing a sneak peek into the exciting upcoming collaboration. The unique future legacy egg celebrates the 10th anniversary of Game of Thrones’ debut episode – a major milestone dubbed “The Iron Anniversary”. This collaboration fuses Fabergé’s superior craftsmanship and artistic ingenuity with one of the 21st century’s most popular shows.
The website features animated motifs from the award-winning television series and hosts exclusive behind the scenes information and imagery, including details from the costume designs of the show which served as inspiration for the design of this one-of-a-kind egg.
