In the fertile land of Taichung, the growth of every grain of rice carries the farmer’s deep affection and care for the land. This emotion, as the seasons change, gradually transforms into a rich and strong aroma that penetrates into every bag of rice. It is this background that inspired us to design a new rice bag packaging for the Taichung Local Farmers Association, a packaging that can truly reflect the aroma of rice grains, farmers’ emotions and the story of the land.
This design is not only an update of packaging, but also a profound reflection on the relationship between land, people and nature. We hope to pass on Taichung’s local spirit and simple agricultural culture to every consumer through this rice bag. In terms of design, we decided to use the theme of “smell of rice grains” and the illustration techniques of farmers to weave stories about people and land cultivating in the four seasons.
The design on each side is a carefully arranged picture. The front shows the scene of farmers working hard in the fields. This is not only a tribute to the farmers’ hard work, but also symbolizes the power of life and growth. On the reverse side, there are illustrations of delicate rice grains, as if you can smell the fresh fragrance of rice bred from the land. These illustrations cleverly echo the scene on the front, conveying an optimistic and friendly local spirit.
In packaging, we also pay great attention to the design of brand standard characters. Through new thinking, we merged the characteristics of round fonts and bold fonts, aiming to create a visual effect that can not only arouse trust but also be full of affinity. This kind of design not only makes people feel warm and comfortable, but also hopes to change the public’s impression of traditional agricultural products, allowing more people to feel the sincerity and simplicity coming from the land.
In addition, we carefully consider the choice of packaging materials and insist on using environmentally friendly and recyclable materials. This is another way for us to express respect and care for the land. Every time consumers choose to use our products, they are invisibly participating in caring for the earth.
Through the design of this rice bag, we hope to promote people’s deep understanding and appreciation of nature. Every bag of rice is not only a source of food, but also a witness to the interaction between nature and humans. It reminds us that it is our common responsibility to live in harmony with nature and cherish every gift from the land.
