The briefing: Creation of a new brand, visual identity and packaging for a new brand of solid soaps focused on the male audience.
The solution: The world of soap is usually a feminine world, and this project already thought differently, why should men purchase feminine products? Can men have a range of soaps and shampoos dedicated exclusively to them? How do we explain it to them? That was the real problem of the project, communication with the client.
As its name indicates, solid soap and shampoos, that’s where the idea was born, something hard, strong, that lasts over time, but that at the same time offers pleasant sensations to your skin, that takes care of you and makes you feel better. That was the axis that structured the naming and graphic identity of this project.
We also did not intend to make an extremely harsh and masculine design, since we thought that the entire public could be targeted.
We created the naming, Solid, since both products are solid and therefore the naming was easy.
For the packaging line we worked on simplicity, minimalism without losing information, we wanted to be very practical and, above all, for the range to be visual and beautiful.
We thought that the visual and olfactory factor would be very important, which is why each packaging has a die-cut where you can see, touch and smell the product itself. We think that this increasingly influences purchase arguments and we wanted to take advantage of it. A wide, visual and beautiful range, hard but not extremely, visual and easily replicable to other types of products.
