‘Creating Opportunities Together’:
BBVA has spent many years providing support to very different social groups through various initiatives, following its brand purpose of making the opportunities of this new era available to everyone. Education, protection of biodiversity, support for disadvantaged communities, promotion of entrepreneurship, scientific research…
In 2022, the goal was set to give visibility to BBVA’s role as a catalyst for change, and to the millions of anonymous people who are taking advantage of these initiatives to build a better future. To do this, the bank and the creative agency have worked hand in hand to create a new communication platform, ‘Creating Opportunities Together’, which gives all the prominence to those anonymous people who turn the bank’s support into companies, jobs or new research disruptive, and at the same time build opportunities for millions of people around the world.
The ‘Creating Opportunities Together’ presentation campaign has focused on three specific projects: ‘Aprendemos juntos 2030’ [‘We learn together 2030’], which promotes education through sustainability to help people build a greener and more inclusive future; the ‘Leonardo Scholarships’, with which the BBVA Foundation supports researchers and creators in an intermediate stage of their careers; and ‘best sustainable producers award”, a BBVA program to support and recognize the best organic production initiatives in Spain that combine a commitment to the environment, a commitment to energy saving measures and healthy eating.
In its first phase, the campaign is made up of four television pieces, three of them lasting one minute, and another lasting 20 seconds. The initiative is completed with three other animated illustrated videos published on YouTube and different pieces on social networks, brand days in digital media, radio, Spotify and graphics.
In addition, a ‘site’ has been created on the BBVA.com website, where readers can read the testimonials of these and other protagonists of BBVA’s social initiatives, as well as practical information and useful resources.
As a result, the ‘Creating Opportunities Together’ platform homogenizes all the communications and human stories that these initiatives make possible.
