The Six Sons is the final chapter in the Fable Whisky series, The Ghost Piper of Clanyard Bay and was developed to be the sixth and final story in the series. It extends the myth developed for the launch of Fable Whiskey and follows the initial releases of The Captain’s Daughter, The Fiendish King and The Three Companions. This story introduces the Piper’s Six Sons who hear about their father being trapped in the dark cave of Clanyard Bay, talking around a campfire they plotted a rescue but to ensure the sons reached their father each took a different journey to the Bay.
The extension of the story was developed for six new releases. The first three new designs combine with the original illustrations to reflect the blending of the whiskies from the distilleries. The new stories build upon the original myth, turning it into a full book of chapters with each release being a new chapter. Each of six bottle designs reflect the personal journey of one of the sons to rescue their father from the caves. These uniquely characterised designs invite the customer to immerse themselves within in the story. Each customer can choose either to select their favourite character or acquire the full set of six collectable bottles.
Fable Whisky’s The Six Sons is a blended malt Scotch whisky. This final instalment in the Ghost Piper series is comprised of 9000 bottles and is a combination of Highland and Speyside whiskies, matured for a minimum of eight years in ex-bourbon barrels and hogshead casks.
