DSR Branding – Cubo Constructions

Cubo Constructions realised their business had outgrown its existing brand. Tired of communicating outdated messaging and afraid of missing out on potential projects, they sought an identity that truly represented the value they bring to projects. Many of their competitors view warehouses and sheds simply as “big boxes”. To Cubo, they have potential to be one of a business’ most valuable assets, not only housing their operations but saving them money and providing a foundation for future growth. Cubo often forgo cost-saving options like internal columns and dividing walls, in favour of maximising space.With the redesign of Cubo, we wanted to create an identity that best reflected the value they offer to their clients and their design and construction methodology – sturdy and grounded with the ability to scale in the optimisation of layout. Cubo’s consideration of design and construction has been reflected through our identity. Beginning with a square, we crafted the type around a grid system, with the ability to optimise the logo to the given space. We created a more pragmatic solution that reflected what Cubo does. The brand positioning “Built for work” is a promise of what their projects deliver.
