Co-Partnership Amplify Copper & Kings’ Butchertown Badass Spirit

Specialist drinks branding agency Co-Partnership recently revitalised the Copper & Kings brand, amplifying its Butchertown Badass spirit with a more distinctive identity and brand assets inspired by the American music scene and the brand’s unique sonic aging process.

When the brand had ambitions to expand their portfolio and grow their audience from a loyal local fan base to a national cult following, they needed an evolved brand identity and new packaging design for their portfolio of brandies and new bourbon.

Copper & Kings’ ties to Butchertown and the American music scene offered culturally rich inspiration for a new, more striking visual language. Gig posters, ticker tape, and the distillery’s unique sonic aging process were all remixed into a suite of assets and packaging designs that claim loud-and-proud ownership of the brand’s roots. Scaled up and criss crossed, these graphic elements turn up the volume on Copper & Kings’ character to claim presence on shelf and screen.
