Clarins Launches a Digital Travel Retail Experience in Partnership with Lonsdale

Clarins, the iconic French beauty brand, has launched a digital travel retail experience created in partnership with Lonsdale to connect with next gen of China and APAC beauty consumers.

Currently located in Hainan’s Sanya Phoenix International Airport, the interactive popup introduces the ninth generation of Clarins’ cult favourite Double Serum to China’s new generation of beauty fans.

International branding and design consultancy Lonsdale partnered with Clarins to appeal to the increasingly sophisticated tastes of Asia’s Gen Z consumers, highlighting the serum’s efficacy but also aiming to redefine luxury beauty through technology, storytelling, and cultural relevance.

Lonsdale has reimagined the traditional pop-up model, infusing Clarins brand assets with modern, youthful aesthetics and combining them with interactive content and digital technology that will resonate with the tastes of a younger, tech-savvy demographic.

Emerging technologies have been integrated into the brand’s online and offline presence. By blending physical and digital realms, the retail experience incorporates avatars and interactive elements, ensuring that every touchpoint provides immersive, personalised, and memorable brand interactions.

The adaptable retail format will pop up in airports throughout APAC over the next few months, delivering a premium, localised experience in any setting.
