Vinoce Vineyards turned to CF Napa Brand Design to develop a new line of approachable 2021 vintage wines to add to their portfolio. The brand was called Piccola Noce, Italian for “little nut”—a nod to their winery name, Vinoce —a portmanteau meaning “wine nut”.

This exquisite Cabernet Sauvignon, affectionately known as “Little Nut,” pays homage to its origins in a quaint, sun-dappled vineyard nestled in the heart of St. Helena. With a deep, inviting garnet color, it beckons you to explore its complexities. On the nose, it presents a captivating bouquet of ripe black cherries, plums, and a subtle hint of earthy cedar. The palate reveals a harmonious symphony of flavors, where luscious dark fruit mingles with nuances of vanilla and clove. Its well-integrated tannins provide structure and elegance, leading to a long, satisfying finish.

“Piccola Noce White Rhone Blend originates from Rossi Vineyards in Glen Ellen, California. Notably, it is an organic wine, offering captivating aromas of honeydew, pear, citrus, and florals. On the palate, it balances creamy texture, fruitiness, and freshness, concluding with a crisp, satisfying finish. A versatile, well-crafted choice for wine enthusiasts who value organic principles.”

CF Napa Brand Design developed an iconic solution and drew a stylized walnut as the main graphic of the label. The script was inspired by the Vinoce wordmark, but with additional flourishes and flairs to capture the brand’s laid-back, modern Italian bistro vibe. The contrast of the toothy white paper and the brightly colored graphics gave the front label a clean, pop-art feel; keeping with the artistic, boutique sensibility that Vinoce Vineyards is known for.
