Capturing the Understated Confidence of Brown Brothers Best

The Brown Brothers Shiraz Mondeuse and Cabernet is the most iconic and premium in the portfolio — a wine of considerable depth of flavour, heritage and winemaking skill. It was a favourite wine of John Charles Brown, the innovative and creative second winemaker at Brown Brothers, who first created the signature blend in 1954 and today it is still made using his methods.

The pedigree of this wine is unparallelled, and the design of the Shiraz Mondeuse and Cabernet needed to continue to reflect this while also bringing it into the new masterbrand architecture system. The premium nature of the wine also required an integrated gift box option into the core design strategy.

The beautiful textured cotton stock of the label combined with carefully chosen gold foil and print embellishments bring to life the elegance and substance of this wine. The origins and single vineyard provenance are given pride of place on the front of the bottle, with the signature of John Charles Brown a symbol of his creative and historical impact in its creation.
