Camu is a company that was created with the purpose of strengthening the Amazon forest region and its natural properties. All products the company sells are natural and handcrafted. The purpose of building the brand’s visual communication was to convey attributes such as modernity and seriousness without ceasing to be linked to nature.
having a modern look is a feature that greatly differentiates the company from local competitors.
The symbol, in addition to being the letter C and the letter A, is also a bunch of camu-camu with a drop coming out of the fruit, which symbolizes the possibilities of using it to formulate natural products. It has light rounded ends so it’s not too strong and it sounds lighter when you catch your eye.
For the typographic part, a sans serif font was chosen, as the company wants to convey modernity, such a font would be a good choice.
To match the company’s modern air, black and white is a perfect match. White brings modernity while black works to provide contrast.
In addition to these two colors, a light shade of red and green were also chosen. Red, in addition to expressing passion (among other attributes) is also the color of the camu-camu bark (which is also white inside).
Green serves to allude to something natural.
Interestingly, the tones of these 2 colors (light red and green) are exactly opposite in a chromatic circle.
The iconography follows the same pattern of color and shape as the symbol. Some illustrations were created to work as support elements for the brand.
