ByAllMeans Studio’s Redesign and Rebrand of Apiterra to Help Elevating Raw Foods

Apiterra was a redesign and a rebrand, aiming to elevate a local Brooklyn brand of raw honey into a confident brand of raw foods. We joined them on the journey of expanding their portfolio of barely touched by humans products from only honey (flower and superfood ranges), to a range of teas promoting daily rituals and mindfulness, Himalayan salt and later fruit spreads.

Food directly from nature is the best way to heal, to connect, and, we believe, to learn. The most difficult questions we can think of: how to feed the masses, how to safely heal, how to sustainably store food, nature has already figured out. We just have to listen.

But nowadays, even listening is hard. Many people today don’t have access to a store with fresh ingredients let alone their own garden. And while the vegetarian and organic movements have brought better food into grocery stores, they have done so in a disproportionate way, leaving low income areas without better food options. What’s worse, fresh, organic food, what was once free and abundant in nature, is now seen as a luxury item.

ApiTerra is on a mission to change the way the world consumes by bringing the rawest possible foods to the most possible people. They practice mindful consumption, and will only ever ferment, strain, wash, and lightly heat what we pick from nature. They never compromise our ingredients for shelf life or transportation efficiency. If something is too hard to ship or package or store, they see that as nature telling us not to use it.
