Bue is a the westernmost fishfarm in Norway. Producing sustainably harvested landbased Fresh Island Salmon.
The brands ESPs are the fresh atlantic waters, the Island fishing traditions, the harsh elements and the strong currents.
All optimal conditions to harvest a superior athletic salmon. With the merger of old traditions and new technology, this gives them a current advantage.
Current Made
Only with resistance, can we create real progress. In the ocean gap furthest west in Norway, there is a lot of resistance. Here you’ll find our Fresh Island Salmon swimming naturally against the strong flowing current.

Our Fresh Island Salmon is current made. Swimming instinctively against the continuous current, they are naturally healthy, more powerful, firm and tasty. The natural choice.
The fast-flowing current creates a very special salmon. Strengthened by its natural environment, it becomes more agile and more muscular with a superior taste. It is a fish that thrives in its clean surroundings and makes the most of its current advantage.
Fresh Island Salmon
Shaped by the current, this is a naturally fresher, firmer salmon. Harvested at its peak, our fish set an unrivalled standard of tasteful nutrition. A delicate, healthy taste of distinctive origin.
We believe that our surroundings shape us. The Bue Fresh Island Salmon swims in clean and fresh fast-flowing North Atlantic water. It is shaped by resilience. Formed through resistance. A healthier and firmer fish. A delicacy for seafood connoisseurs and chefs in their search for the ultimate umami.
Packaging design creation
The packages developed for Bue Salmon are designed in two sustainable variants.
The premium loins have been developed for upcycling, and production in wood, with vacuum-packed salmon loins on the inside. The package is designed for reuse, in 3 color variants.
The ready-to-go concept is developed in recyclable pulp, and is delivered in ready-to-eat trays with pre-cut pieces of smoked fresh island salmon, together with suitable accessories, and their own chopsticks. The products are perfectly prepared for raw consumption.
The slogan “current made” is debossed on the side.
