Bruno Cohen Studio Finds Visual Clarity in a Calm and Intentional Identity by Kwiba Agency

Bruno Cohen Studio® (B/C) is a South African–Brazilian architecture practice founded in 2024. The studio is grounded in a philosophy of minimalism, material honesty, and spatial storytelling. With a cross-cultural design perspective and a deep respect for context, Bruno Cohen designs calm, intentional environments where every detail serves both purpose and emotion. His spaces are carefully edited, allowing light, proportion, and texture to take the lead. At its core, the studio believes that architecture is not only about form and function — it is about creating atmospheres that speak softly but leave a lasting impression.

Challenge

When we were invited to develop the brand identity for B/C, the studio had no existing logo, visual system, or brand voice. It relied solely on Bruno’s name and his growing reputation. The challenge was to create an identity that would capture the quiet strength of his architectural approach — something minimalist, but never cold; contemporary, but not trend-driven; precise, but still personal.

Solution

Our solution was a complete visual identity system that reflects the clarity and elegance of the studio’s ethos. Every element — from the logo to the layout structure — was designed with intention. We used thoughtful composition, a neutral palette, and confident whitespace to reinforce the values of discipline, calm, and architectural clarity. The branding supports the studio’s narrative-driven design philosophy by offering a platform that is understated yet strong.
