Break Design Introduces a Sleek Wellness-Led Packaging System for Vitasnella Specifique Functional Waters

Break design and Ferrarelle design the new value of water by tapping into the cosmetic category codes.

In a market where consumers are increasingly conscious of health and nutritional values, even drinking water has become an opportunity to nourish and care for the body with essential elements.

With its Vitasnella brand, the Ferrarelle group was among the first to introduce functional waters to the Italian market, establishing a strong foothold in a growing sector.
As competition has intensified and the market has become increasingly crowded, Vitasnella is responding by launching a second line of functional waters under the new sub-brand Specifique. This new line is designed to offer more targeted health benefits, currently featuring two distinct products: a fat-burning water and an anti-cellulite variant.
To support this launch, we have been tasked with developing a packaging system that would enhance the product’s value and its specificity.
The design embraces a very minimalist aesthetic, drawing on the transparency associated with the water based beverage category. However and more importantly, it conveys a sense of assertive elegance and reliability, effectively bridging the gap between the world of bottled water and the cosmetics industry.
This innovative approach transforms the perception of the product, elevating it from ordinary water to a beverage with unique features and beneficial properties.
The packaging does not merely serve as a container for the water; it plays a crucial role in communicating the product’s health benefits and a premium positioning. Clean lines and a metal color palette capture the essence of wellness and sophistication, appealing to beauty-conscious consumers. Translucent colors let the product shine and support the feel that what’s inside is valuable.
Through a thoughtful packaging design, Ferrarelle is creating a brand experience that resonates with consumers seeking both elegance and specific health benefits in their beverage choices.
