Imperial Leather has long been recognised for its luxurious lather and signature fragrances, but with the launch of Ultimate Moisture, the brand set out to redefine skincare indulgence. Entering the ultra-nourishing category alongside leaders like Dove and Nivea, this new range aims to deliver superior moisturisation while maintaining Imperial Leather’s iconic sensorial experience.
Our role was to create packaging and brand identity that could seamlessly balance skin health with the luxurious, joyful bathing experience Imperial Leather is known for. The challenge lay in appealing to consumers who often feel they must choose between efficacy and indulgence — brands that are either too clinical or purely pleasure-driven. By embracing Imperial Leather’s signature strength in fragrance and lather, we crafted a design that modernises the brand while reinforcing its heritage.
At the heart of the Ultimate Moisture design is a minimal yet inviting aesthetic that celebrates the product’s creamy, velvety formulation. Soft, fluid visuals represent the nourishing qualities of the range, while refined dermatological cues assure skin-caring credentials. Modern, delicate typography adds a sense of care and sophistication, ensuring the packaging feels both premium and approachable.
To elevate the experience further, the fragrances — Vanilla & White Orchid and Cherry Blossom & Almond Oil — were crafted by master perfumers, blending comforting and uplifting notes that linger gently on the skin. The result is a skincare experience that challenges the category norm, offering indulgence and effectiveness without compromise.
Ultimate Moisture reclaims Imperial Leather’s status as an icon while confidently stepping into the modern skincare space, connecting with consumers seeking a deeper, more sensorially rewarding shower experience.
