Branding for The Foundation by Facialteam

Branding for The Foundation by Facialteam

The Foundation is a long-term social responsibility project developed by Facialteam, this is an internationally recognized brand in the field of facial feminization surgery. They’re headquartered in Marbella (Spain) with additional clinics in Barcelona and Brazil. Over the years they’ve grown both as a company and as a brand and were able to create a meaningful relationship with their patients: transgender women.

The Foundation materializes Facialteam’s vision third pillar as it aims to support the transgender community in the social sphere under the beliefs of respect and dignity as a way to achieve gender equality and promote inclusiveness.

The Foundation has a mission to raise awareness of the transgender community’s challenges with a focus on contributing to education and information by supporting actions that foster dialogue. Therefore, it is an open, welcoming brand with flexible and intense visuals.

The brand’s visual identity presents three main pillars: a wide colour palette, a set of shapes that can be combined to achieve different compositions, and photography. The Foundation by Facialteam logotype is constituted by the wordmark which represents a visual bridge to the Facialteam brand. The primary segment of the wordmark uses FT Headline with slight adjustments; the secondary segment of the wordmark uses FT Text Italic (both typefaces are custom fonts and belong to Faciateam).

All these elements interact to achieve an assertive yet approachable positioning that speaks not only to its primary niche audience but also to the general public to convey a powerful message of respect, diversity, inclusion and love.
