Branding for a Museum in Mexico City

Branding for a Museum in Mexico City

Estudio Albino – CDMX Radio Museum

The Radio Museum is a forum for the diffusion and promotion of the radio located in a subway station in Mexico City. It’s a public space intervened with technology and memorabilia. To create its brand identity we took the basic idea of the device:The Radio is a transmitter of energy that travels in waves until it finds a receiver. These waves can take different forms according to frequency, speed and length. These waves become the letter “M” of the word museum and the three interlaced represent the parts that give life to it: the radio, the audience and the place. The symbol is created so that it can be applied like a sound wave: with a base form but that can modify itself to take other shapes. The result is a compelling brand identity system.
