Cà Kheo is a strategic branding and design studio based in Ho Chi Minh City. We create strategy, communication and products for commercial and cultural clients. We believe powerful and compelling design can transform brands, shape extraordinary stories, and create positive impact.

The brand’s logo is inspired by bamboo segments which bamboo segments connect together to form a complete whole. The characters in the logo are treated to be both sturdy and flexible, with parallel straight lines and moderately flexible curves expressing the unique shape and properties of bamboo.

Originating from a familiar homeland, the country and people of Vietnam. The spirit of bamboo speaks of sustainability, resilience, and the deep cultural character in this country of Vietnam. Besides, bamboo also evokes a thousand-year long history here, a place to live together with childhood, with memories, with each story that created it, and we have combined and created design inspiration for Cà Kheo.

Branding design concept comes from the feelings of the old days in Vietnam, where people gathered together and told each other their own stories along with the fairy tale about bamboo. Based on this idea, Cà Kheo with the brand stories he created are planted in bamboo cribs and incubated to clearly convey the brand message to the outside. So we created a strong visual system of associations about bamboo knots, with each interaction finding something new, creating excitement that opens up exploration and discovery in Cribs-based concept to preserve our story.
