USAIMO – A Design Concept that Unites Science and Nature
USAIMO stands for a natural skincare approach that supports and preserves the skin’s unique ecosystem. With a holistic philosophy, it protects the skin’s bacterial diversity, maintaining its natural balance.
Following the Mix & Match principle, USAIMO offers a selection of base textures tailored to different skin types and needs, combined with powerful booster ingredients that target specific concerns and optimize results.
Clean and holistic – a conscious choice for mindful skincare. The formulations are highly skin-friendly, free from harmful ingredients and preservatives, ensuring a pure and effective skincare experience.
This philosophy extends to the brand and packaging design. A clean and minimalist aesthetic is reflected in the typography, while innovation and modernity are conveyed through bold colors. These colors not only represent the active ingredients but also create a distinctive brand identity that stands out from competitors.
The name USAIMO is an acronym for “Unique Skincare Assisting (the) Individual Micro-Organism,” emphasizing the brand’s mission to support the skin’s ecosystem in its unique balance.
Our symbol, featuring two opposing arrows with half-tips, represents the chemical sign for equilibrium. Balance plays a crucial role in all ecosystems, and this concept is at the heart of USAIMO.
For USAIMO, I developed a visual design concept that bridges the gap between science and nature. The typography is as clear and reduced as the skincare ingredients themselves. The colors are not just aesthetically pleasing but also deeply connected to the active ingredients: green like moss, purple like bakuchiol, yellow like radiant oats, and blue like pure water.
The existing logo was complemented with a new icon – a small sign with a big message. Two arrows inspired by chemical balance, symbolizing exactly what this skincare brand achieves. Science, translated into design. Minimalist, modern, yet full of life.
A design that visually communicates the brand’s values: clarity, balance, individuality, and innovation.
