Dessein – Two Oceans Abalone Gift Box

Ocean Grown Abablone (OGA) nuture and harvest the highly sought after Green Lip Abalone in the pristine waters of Flinders Bay in the South West of Western Australia. The Abalone are a considered a delicacy throughout Asia, and under the brand Two Oceans, OGA wanted to present the prized seafood as a souvenir gift box, containing one or two of the pre-cooked Australian Green Lip Abalone in a retort pouch and with a beautifully highly-polished shell from which it was nurtured. To enhance the gifting experience, the box comprises two parts. An outer sleeve, and an inner black box. The sleeve slides over, short of the entire depth of the second base box which features the TwoOceans logo in silver foil and a die-cut window. Upon lifting the outer box lid, the die-cut window reveals the Abalone within the second box. Sliding the outer off completely, the beautiful colours of the highly-polished shell are visible through a secondary window on the back of the box.Purposely minimal, the design highlights the natural delicacies of the product, championing it’s unique beauty within a shell simply placed on a bed of crushed ice – glistening as if afloat upon a sea of diamonds.
