Cacao has a delicate and distinct taste with various notes which are determined by its environment. The climate, the region; these all factor into a particular harvest’s unique flavor profiles. The uniqueness is preserved by excluding additives and playing with taste through our mini bombs of curated spices that compliment and highlight the cacao’s original flavors.

Packed with flavanols and vitamins, cacao has a long history of medicinal use with benefits to overall health including reducing stress, heart health, and digestion. Taste buds aren’t the only thing we take seriously. Our cacao and ingredients are sourced and harvested ethically and we make it our mission to contribute to a sustainable future. Founded by a Peace Corps volunteer who values sustainable business practices, December is mindful of preventing deforestation, child labor and ensuring a fair trade for cacao farmers. We believe chocolate tastes better when it’s made consciously.
