“The Hippogriff is an e-commerce website that deals with the expression of art on everyday products such as tote bags, posters, mugs, throw pillows, shoes etc. The products feature illustrations from artists around the world. The Hippogriff is a legendary creature, which has the front half of an eagle and the hind half of a horse. The creature is an expression of art, exactly like the brand. As per the brief, an identity was to be created that would depict the majestic nature of the hippogriff and at the same time, provide the feeling of confidence and assurance. An illustrative approach was taken for the identity and it was then incorporated onto the rest of the collaterals. A brand manual was also designed for the brand covering all the information since its birth.
This project received the SEMIFINALIST badge at the 2018 Adobe Design Achievement Awards.”
