She Was Only – Hura

Hura is an online fashion brand specialising in hand-crafted, woven moroccan bags. She Was Only was approached to create a brand identity and ecommerce website that reflected the spirit of morocco.

Hura was born out of the love for a country and its artisanal bounties. From the weaver to the tanner and every artisan in between, Hura celebrates the inspiring skills shared within the local community of Marrakech.

The brand is inspired by the colours and textures of morocco. Metallic gold and coppers are contrasted with rough, sandy textured papers. The pattern is inspired by the weave of the bags and the vibrant fabrics and tiles found across the region.
