Taurus is one of the largest butcher shops in Tashkent. As Uzbekistan is the Republic where there are a lot of muslims and the most important goal of company is to provide halal meat (the meat that can eat muslims).
They approached me to create an identity that stands out from the competition and have a recognizable visual identity for clients. I developed a classic identity, which consists of a logo, colors, a font and a corporate element.
As idea I used silhouette of bull, exactly his head. In the process of creating logo I combined the head of bull and the first letter of company “T” as a negative space.
Also, the shape I gave for the logo, I started to use separately as a corporate graphic as a container and a pattern in order to to develop an identity, to make it more interesting.
Also tried to create a creative navigation with their business card, knife as a concept using 3D. As a main colour of the brand I chose red, which characterizes naturalness of the meat which Taurus sells.A strict neo-grotesque font was chosen as a corporate font, which also emphasizes the reliability of the brand.
As butcher shop has different types of products, I made logos for each product (sheep, deer and etc.) and used them in their package. Also I tried to give the form of brand to its package. I chose additional colors for each product. As a result you can see recognisable, minimalistic, but variative identity which helps Taurus stand out from other butcher shops in Uzbekistan.
