Brand Hatch Creative Launches Wembley Fizz Gin and Tonic With a Vibrant RTD Brand Identity

With the new era of ready to drink beverages and a growing focus on conscious drinking, consumers are increasingly seeking fresh, flavour forward and lower alcohol options that still feel premium and exciting. Wembley Fizz Gin and Tonic enters this fast growing RTD category with a bold, contemporary and vibrant expression that reflects both quality and modern lifestyle appeal.

The team behind Wembley Gin approached us to design and develop the complete RTD branding system for Wembley Fizz, with the objective of creating a distinctive shelf presence while remaining true to the premium heritage of the parent brand. Our design process began with the development of a bespoke gin and tonic glass illustration that became a core visual asset across the range. This was paired with a custom drawn FIZZ logotype, designed to convey energy, effervescence and refreshment through its dynamic letterforms.

The can designs were created to express a bright, juicy flavour profile through expressive colour palettes, fruit cues and bold graphic compositions. Each flavour is clearly differentiated while maintaining a strong, cohesive brand system across the full range. A key creative decision was to integrate the exposed aluminium of the can into the visual language, allowing the raw metal to contrast with the playful illustrated graphics and vibrant colours. This balance between premium finish and modern, urban character reinforces both refreshment and contemporary appeal.

Printing and production were used as an integral part of the overall design concept rather than as a secondary consideration. A clear label was selected to allow the metallic surface of the can and the exposed aluminium top to remain visible, enhancing colour vibrancy, depth and shelf impact. The design incorporates two foil applications to accentuate key brand assets and introduce controlled reflectivity. Selective raised UV printing was applied to the logo and illustration details to add tactility and visual hierarchy. Together, these finishes elevate the product while ensuring the design performs strongly in a competitive RTD environment.

In parallel with the visual identity, we developed the brand messaging line Fizzical Attraction as a modern play on words that directly references both the effervescence of the product and the magnetic personality of the brand. The line reinforces the energetic tone of the identity and acts as a flexible communication hook across packaging, campaign assets and digital environments.

Wembley Fizz was designed to function not only as a beverage but as a lifestyle accessory across multiple occasions. From casual social moments and outdoor settings to celebratory gatherings and gifting, the brand needed to feel equally at home in different environments. This versatility is reflected in both the colour driven flavour system and the premium yet playful material finishes, positioning Wembley Fizz as a contemporary companion to modern drinking culture.
