Nandhara Vieira is an architecture office located in Paraná (South of Brazil) focused on architectural, interior, landscape, complementary projects, property regularization, consulting and monitoring of works.
The project’s challenges were: to convey elegance, but be simple at the same time, and to create a creative logo.
Seeking to convey a modern and minimalist brand, the logo was developed based on the brand’s letters, modern architecture and the Vitruvian triad, a concept that represents 3 main elements for architecture: stability, beauty and convenience/function. Thus, the right half of the symbol brings a perspective aspect (function), while the other half forms the letters N and V. In addition, the construction of the symbol carries curves together with straight lines, an aspect present in modern architecture and in Niemeyer’s works.
For the creation of the brand’s color palette, 3 main factors were taken into account: the psychology of colors, differentiation from competitors and sensations. With this, the color palette of Nandhara’s visual identity was created to convey modernity and elegance.
Thus, green, black and beige in a sand tone were chosen to be the main colors of the brand. According to color psychology, green is linked to security, credibility and calm and beige conveys elegance. It is a professional and light color palette, which differentiates itself from the competitors and still represents sensations.
The font customization was done in order to better harmonize with the created symbol. The letters N, A and V were modified, bringing more curves to the typography and matching the created icon. This customization brings a stronger visual identity to the brand and it is possible to work only with the typographic part separate from the symbol.
